Mr. Y.N. Sharma
Chief Operating Officer
Y.N. Sharma is a qualified Private Pilots License(PPL) with rich exposure
across Indian and global Aviation Market. He was also selected for the
CPL programme at the prestigious Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Academy
(IGRUA) Fursatganj, Rae Bareilly.
He has worked in the Advertising Industry from 1989 to 1997 and then as
General Manager Operations with a cargo airline set-up in Delhi. He has
extensive experience of handling aviation operations and setting up new
projects.
Air Commodore S.S.Tilloo (Retd)
Chief Flying Instructor
Air Commodore (Retired) S.S.Tilloo is an experienced Qualified Flying
Instructor with over 6200 hours of flying. He is also a post graduate
with more than 34 years of experience in flying operations, maintenance
and administrative aspects of military and civil flying. His instructional
flying includes over 2700 hours on Single/Multi-engine piston, Turbo-prop
and Jet Aircraft.
Capt.B.P.Singh
Director Academy
Capt.B.P.Singh is an ex Indian Air Force pilot with over 8000 hrs of flying
on more than ten different types of aircraft.In the Air Force he was a
Qualified Flying Instructor and an Air Force Examiner. After his stint
in the Air Force, he flew with a commercial airliner and in general aviation.
Thereafter, he spent seven years at the Malaysian Flying Academy as Standard’s
Officer and Chief Flying Instructor. He brings his vast and varied experience
to make Chimes Aviation Academy a world class Flying Training Institute.
Mr. Raj Chakrabarty
General Manager - Operations
Raj is responsible for Business Operation at Chimes Aviation. Prior to
CAA,, he had worked with, Petro IT, Spectranet, J.K Synthetics & PIL
Ltd. With over Fourteen years of experience across the industry spectrum,
Raj bring forth a unique set of knowledge and skills which include an
in-depth understanding and practice of Operation and Human resource management
processes with structured methodologies, experience in the Service and
other industries, successful People management and development record,
strong leadership & management background. Raj’s principal field
of expertise is in leading teams, leveraging people development systems,
innovating solutions, analysing processes and concepts and management
of human Capital strategically to rapidly drive businesses forward by
increasing productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
Raj is a Post Graduate in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations
and also holds a Diploma in HRM.
Group Captain N.N. Ubgade (Retd)
Ground Training Instructor
Group Captain N.N. Ubgade (Retd) is a very experienced Flying and Ground
Instructor from the Indian Air Force. He has held Qualified Flying Instructor
category, A-1 and Master Green Instrument rating. He has carried out Instructional
Flying on nine types of Piston & Jet Engine Aircraft, including twin
engine Canberra jet bomber. He was on deputation for two years to Egypt
to train Pilots of the Egyptian Air Force. He has been a flying and ground
instructor at the Air Force Academy and at the Flight Instructors School
(FIS). He was Commanding Officer of the FIS and an Examiner at the Aircrew
Examining Board.
After his retirement from the IAF, Gp Capt Ubgade was the Chief Ground
Instructor (CGI) at the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Academy (IGRUA) for
eight years. Thereafter, for five years he served as the Principal of
a flying academy belonging to Taneja Aerospace and Aviation Ltd.

Group Captain S.D. Bhave (Retd)
Ground Training Instructor
Group Captain S.D. Bhave (Retd) was a Navigator in the Indian Air Force
and has vast flying experience on Canberra jet bomber and heavy transport
aircraft. He is a Qualified Navigation Instructor (QNI) and has trained
the Navigators of not only the Indian Air Force but also of Iraqi Air
Force. He has served as an instructor in the Navigation School of the
Air Force for training of ab-initio navigators as well as QNI courses.
He is also an ex - Air Force Examiner of the Aircrew Examining Board of
the Air Force. He has held CPL with AFI rating and also has held a Flight
Navigator's Licence.
Wing Commander Bansi Parmar (Retd)
Chief Ground Instructor
Wg Cdr (Retd) Bansi Parmar is an ex Indian Air force multi engine transport
and Helicopter pilot with 40 years of experience in the Aviation field.
He held a commercial pilots license on helicopters and was with state
government of West Bengal as a VIP pilot for 3 years. Apart from his excellence
in flying he has an engineering degree (A.M.Ae.Sc) to his credit and is
a life member of the Aeronautical society of India. He has also been a
Ground Instructor at various air force establishments. At CAA he has taken
up the responsibility of setting up a high quality Ground School.
Air Commodore N Minocha VM (Retd)
Head Quality & Safety
Air Commodore N Minocha (Retd) is an A-2 grade Flying Instructor and an
alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington with 43 years of
experience in Flying Operations, Flight Safety and Planning & Management
of aviation projects. His rich experience includes 33 years in IAF with
exposure to aircraft like the Mirage-2000, important field and staff assignments
with distinction of the Presidential award of Vayu Sena Medal. His varied
experience includes 7 years with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) as
GM Flight Operations & Safety and Advisor on the Flight Simulation
Projects and 3 years in General Aviation Planning of Aviation Projects
and facilities for aircraft.
Mr. Uday Punj
Director
Uday Punj is Founder and Director of Chimes Group(www.chimesgroup.in),
a multi-venture organization with international footprints and key interests
in aviation, technology, education and business services amongst others.
