Aviation English Language Proficiency (AELP) Training & Testing
Proficiency in Aviation English Language (AELP) is a requisite. Attaining at least Level 4 proficiency is essential for issuing PPL, CPL, and ATPL, ensuring the privilege of exercising the associated flying licenses.

Proficiency in Aviation English Language (AELP), evaluated by a DGCA-approved AELP Training Testing organisation, is a requisite. Attaining at least Level 4 proficiency is essential for issuing PPL, CPL, and ATPL, ensuring the privilege of exercising the associated flying licenses.
Chimes Aviation Academy is a DGCA-approved AELP Training and testing Service Provider. Our AELP test centre is based at Dhana Airbase, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.
The 30-hour training encompasses ICAO's six holistic skill descriptors
Upon successful completion of the AELP Training, candidates will be granted an AELP Training Completion Certificate. This certificate aligns with the guidelines outlined in DGCA CAR Section 7 Series G Part III/V. For further details, please refer to the DGCA website.
Eligibility
Passed English as a second language in Class 10 or Class 10+2 Examinations from a recognised board
Minimum of 16 years of age
If the candidate holds an SPL, he/she should have cleared all four DGCA written examinations in Air Navigation, Aviation Meteorology, Air Regulations, and Technical General.
Minimum of 30 Hours of AELP training completion from DGCA-approved AELP training organisation.
If the candidate has his licence already endorsed with AELP level 4 or 5, he/she is not required to undergo AELP training again.
Defence services Personnel with 1,500 hours or more of flying experience are eligible for AELP testing.
